Search Engine Optimisation is an interesting artform which requires much work!

At Faith Computing we have a passion for Search Engine Optimisation / SEO in the Sutherland Shire. We also believe in telling it how it is, so in the spirit of honesty let us explain SEO!

To start with we need to ensure a solid foundation in your website, this means that your website must break the minimum amount of google rules (if any) in order to ensure a good future page rank! Once this has been done correctly we (your company or ours) focus on creating "quality keyword rich content". This means that google finds the same keywords over and over.

For example: If you are selling 'purple wooden spoons', you will need to have those featured words in your content (writting on your website) as many times as possible (without it detracting from the quality of the sentence structure).

So, how do we get you a quality ranking?

It is this simple, the more content on the internet with your desired keywords which link back to your website - the better your position on google for certain search terms!

So, whats the catch? WELL!! Its all about the length of the search term!

The more words in your search term the more chance you have of ranking HIGH on the search engine!

For example:

• The search term 'spoons' has nearly 32 MILLION results! Thats a LOT of competition!
• The search term 'wooden spoons' has nearly 1.3 MILLION results! Thats a lot LESS competition!
• The search term 'purple wooden spoons' has under 900,000 results! Thats far less competition!

So, in the same way, we currently run a website design business, we are located in the Sutherland Shire (Just south of Sydney), if we focus an SEO keyword campaign on 'Website Design Sutherland Shire' we should rank quite well as there are currently just over 100,000 results. This keyword is currently getting around 140 searches inside of Australia per month, assuming that half of those are website companies it is still a good 70 searches! If we can get to the top of that we should get some nice flow of traffic to our site in teh not too distant future - traffic + good sales copy = new clients most of the time!

We suggest that a client starts off with working on 1 keyword at a time to get some results and then expanding depending on the results that are generated. We also dont lie about the fact that the work will become a permenant thing, you will pay once per month for good, although this should get you constant results and make you more in profit and new clients then the money you are paying out!

Some clients will go for multiple keywords after seeing the results, that is fine, it will still cost money per keyword with a discount on the multiples. Our aim is simple - to keep you in a good google position!
